TOTAL LIFE – A TOTAL RADIO SUCCESS STORY
Total Life is exploding on our AC40 chart with their debut single “A Great Love.” The song is also now attracting the attention of Top40 radio programmers that are set to bring their stations on board in the coming weeks. Taken from the album Coming Back, the CD features nine original songs with stellar production. Gerardo Loidi, the group leader of Total Life, hails from La Plata City, Argentina. In 1963, thanks to Beatlemania, he decided to start playing guitar and sing along with friends in and around his neighborhood. Later Gerardo joined a group, but in 1974, he and a friend decided to start writing songs and create an act.
In 1978 they recorded an album released via CBS Columbia in Buenos Aires under the name Busqueda. The album can still be found on Spotify and YouTube. Gerardo left the group in 1979 and decided to put to good use his degree in Geology. So, from 1979 to 2016 Gerardo worked as a Geologist in the oil industry in many places around the world. But his passion for music never really left him and In 2017 he found his way back to music and started to write and record songs in his home recording studio where he also mixed and mastered the music. It’s 2019 and “A Great Love” is zooming across the airwaves and racing up multiple charts. Without a doubt, “A Great Love,” will become the calling card for many great musical things to come from Gerardo Loidi and Total Life. The passion cannot be denied, the music cannot be denied, so stay tuned.
