RENEE ZAWAWI BREAKS WITH TRIBUTE TO MOM

RENEE ZAWAWI has a huge hit on her hands at radio and make no mistake about it. Her current “Mom” (Pop Star/PSP) single, the follow-up to her chart topping “Happy Hour” is already Top5 (#5) this week on our AC40 chart and the track also makes a strong debut on our Top40 chart this week as well. Renee is also receiving equal chart movement at New Music Weekly, FMQB and on the Independent Music Network where she has just been nominated for 6 awards for their up-coming Independent Music Network Awards. Renee is not only an outstanding artist but also a photographer. She earned dual Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Visual and Performing Arts from Arcadia University and Bachelor of Science from Brooks Institute. Of her music, Renee says, “Each person has their own unique and individual stories. They also have their own way of expressing these stories. That’s why when someone decides to write their own songs and music – there’s something about the music that is more honest, more fresh, more original. You find yourself singing from the heart, because the songs are coming from a direct result of your own personal experiences, hopes, dreams, and disappointments.
