Recording artist John Ratliff has made quite a run for himself with his solo effort “U.” The single is closing in on the top spot on our AC40 and Top40 charts and is a solid “breaker” now on our Country Top50. It’s also doing similar business over at New Music Weekly, FMQB and on both the Mainstream and Country charts at the Independent Music Network where he got his start. This is not the the former airline pilot’s first trip to the rodeo. He has had a string of hits with his band, Receptacle. One of the biggest was his International hit, “Believe In Me.” John often refers to himself as “just a good old boy from Georgia,” but this “good old boy” knows what radio wants to play. And there is more where “U” is coming from, because he has a war chest of songs just waiting to be released. In the meantime, “U” is in the spotlight and his next big hit on multiple formats.
