The music industry has been changing and evolving in many different ways over the past decade and one of the biggest trends we’re seeing is the influx of DIY bands. Artists that are out there grinding on their own whether it’s recording the music, booking tours or just managing the day to day responsibilities, the DIY scene has been blowing up. One recognizable name from that scene is Pickwick Commons who have shown that hard work and dedication really do pay off. The band recently announced the release date of their new record, “Weak Bones” (out March 15th) and are stoked to announce they will be hitting the road in support of the album. Having over 175+ shows, including dates on Vans Warped Tour, under their belt in just the last two years, Pickwick Commons are no strangers to the van life and living out on the road. This tour will be especially momentous as they’ve picked some of their favorite stops to showcase the new music. Vocalist Adam Loellke shared, “We’re beyond excited to bring “Weak Bones” to some of our favorite tour destinations the week it comes out. We have been grinding on the road tour after tour, year after year, to make this release as big as possible and are psyched to be doing it with our good friends in LUCA.” The band kicked off 2019 in a strong way with their first single off the record, “Suffer” that has been garnering the band much deserved attention. Pickwick Commons is a band that’s hard to pinpoint into one genre and fans will be taken on a musical journey on the upcoming album as the band isn’t afraid to experiment with different genres, all while staying true to themselves. Pre-orders of “Weak Bones” are available now and keep on eye on the band’s social media as more music and exciting announcements are on the way.
