MODERN HYPE ARRIVES

Three high school friends who found a common bond in the love of music make up the Atlanta trio who is known as MODERN HYPE. Yaro (Quintonio Barber), Ace-Letay (Damond Walker) and D-Zee (Demetrius Terreon Smith) met when they were in the High School marching band. However, the music of Souza was not their preferred style. They needed to find their own voice, which they quickly did. Drawing from diverse influences, MODERN HYPE have developed a unique sound, knowing no boundaries, simply intent on becoming the best in the business. Under the guidance and direction of a team of music notables, who combine their knowledge and expertise to collaborate with talent on the Atlanta based independent record label JADED RECORDS, the Modern Hype is set to break big in the music industry with a new hype. Their fast rise up the charts and across the airwaves at radio is evidence that this is the group to watch and listen to as they begin their break out. And breaking out is exactly what they are doing. MODERN HYPE is making big moves as their debut single “Sniper” (JADED RECORDS) explodes from coast to coast. This week alone the single moves into our Top10 (#10*) in record time on our Top40 chart and also debuts at #33* on our Hot AC40. Their numbers over at New Music Weekly are also stellar from Top40 to their Hot AC40. Stay tuned because it is only the beginning for this Atlanta trio. MODERN HYPE has arrived.
