JOEY CANYON MAKES BIG COUNTRY RUN
Country recording artist Joey Canyon is getting quite the build up at radio with his new “He’s Comin’ Back Home To Her For Good” (Glo Dot) single. It has not only been on the “most added” column for two weeks running here at National Radio Hits, the single is also doing the same over at New Music Weekly. In addition, the red hot song has moved into our Top50 chart in record time and we just received word that it also had a debut over on the Country Top30 for the Independent Music Network. Not bad for only a few weeks out. The song is the opening cut from his new “The Rhythm of Livin’” CD, his second album which delivers the tear jerkin’ and boot-stompin’ strum of ageless, timeless, classic country – as country was meant to be. The album evolved over the course of several years as Joey composed the lyrics and music for six of the ten songs. As a result, every word, chord, and honeyed harmony of his background vocalists hold true to his authentic style. You’ll even find in the mix his first ever tribute song to John Denver, who inspired and influenced his music and his decision to make Colorado “home” for the last 39 years. Part inspiration and part autobiographical, “The Rhythm of Livin’” could be the lightest and most upbeat tracks yet from a man who knows how to sit back, humbly tip his hat down, and soak it all in. Join him on the journey. Debi Fee/ FAF Media
