Being a Country girl, I went immediately to check who won on the Country side and was happy to see Callie Young rewarded for her songs as Female Crossover Artist of The Year. Callie writes songs that you can relate to and her sweet vocals breathe life into her lyrics. Mark my words—she will be a superstar one day. The only thing that can stop her is if she stops—please don’t Callie. We love and need your songs.

I always look forward to a Mike Kuster song. He hooked me last year with his award winning “Daddy’s Blue Jean Jacket.” And this year from “King of the Honky Tonk” to “FarmHer” I found myself loving his songs and knowing I would love his next one too. He puts out good music and he is a consistent hit making artist. Mike, you deserve Impact Country Artist because you make an impact with each and every song you do.

I have been a fan of Brandy Moss Scott since I heard “Bye Bye Baby” way back on the day. I am so happy she won Favorite Female Artist because she definitely one of mine. I hope she does more ballads because that voice was made to sing those songs.
