GARRETT YOUNG GETS JUMP ON SUMMER OF 2017

GARRETT YOUNG continues to get a jump on Summer Hits as his “Do You Hear My Cries” (West Coast Collective) builds strong numbers from Top40 to AC40. The single is also a breakout hit at FMQB, New Music Weekly and on the Independent Music Network where it has already reached #1 on their Mainstream Top30 chart. This 23 year old rocker grew up on a 200 acre ranch in Colorado where he loved to ski and even competed at an early age in the Junior Olympics. But when he picked up the guitar at age 9, music took over his young life and he never looked back. Garrett started his own band at 12 and by the time he was 17, he had played 155 gigs. He drew the attention of some influential music people in Los Angeles, moved there to record with amazing people and found another love, the ocean. Surfing became a passion for the then teenager, Garrett moved back to the ranch and as “Do You Hear My Cries” zooms up the National charts and across the airwaves, he is putting the finishing touches on his debut CD. He has written so many songs, the challenge is which ones to include on his debut. Not a bad problem for an artist, but he can’t wait to release his new songs, return to Los Angeles and yes, surf in the waters of California.
