GARRET YOUNG’S FAST NEW BREAKOUT

Recording artist Garrett Young picks up where he left off last year with a fast-breaking new hit single “My Oh My” (West Coast Collective). The follow-up to his #1 “Do You Hear My Cries,” is already closing in on our top 10 (#11*) of the AC40 Chart in record time as it also crosses formats ranking 2nd “Most Added” at Top40. Quite an accomplishment for the young man from Colorado who grew up running around his Dad’s 200 acre ranch. Destiny stepped in at age 9 when he picked up a guitar for the first time, and he hasn’t put it down since. By 12, Garrett had started his first band and by the ripe old age of 17, he had played in more than 155 gigs. That’s when he left the mountains of Colorado for the sunny beaches of California and began working with not just local bands but a legendary producer as well. Garrett also reconnected with a passion he discovered when he was 11 — the ocean and surfing. Southern California provided Garrett with both his passions in life. When he wasn’t making music, he was surfing. Currently back in Colorado on the ranch, Garrett has been busy writing, recording and performing. He is putting the finishing touches on a new CD and making plans to return to, where else, Southern California.
