From Surprise Wedding To Surprise Divorce

After just 10 months of dating, Kelly Clarkson and music manager Brandon Blackstock became engaged and had a surprise wedding at Blackberry Farms in Tennessee.. Now, after quarantining for a few months on their ranch in Montana, Kelly and Brandon announced another surprise — they are divorcing. There have been few, if any, signs of trouble in the relationship. Some point to the fact that the couple had put their Los Angeles mansion on the market prior to the announcement of the split. Since then, the 10 million dollar mansion has been taken off the real estate market as the couple file the necessary papers in court for their divorce. It remains to be seen if Brandon will stay as executive producer on The Kelly Clarkson Show. The safe bet is he will just as Kelly will no doubt keep her father-in-law, Narvel Blackstock, as her manager. Co-parenting of the couple’s two children, River Rose and Remington Alexander, will not be an issue, either. Both are truly devoted to the best interest of the children. It has been reported that Kelly is leaning on both her soon-ro-be ex-mother-in-law, Reba McEntire and her Voice partner, Blake Shelton for support. Blake is managed by Brandon and has been very close to the couple for years. Reba was married to Brandon’s father, Narvel, and their breakup was also a huge surprise, literally shocking the Country music world. They, however, kept their working relationship in tact, so it is probable Kelly and Brandon will do the same. Show business works like that, folks.
