AS IDOL WRAPS LUKE HITS THE ROAD
Luke Bryan is getting ready to hit the old tour trail right after American Idol crowns their next winner at the end of May. June 7 in Nashville will be where he kicks off his concerts and he will be adding dates as he goes along. One of country music’s most prolific hitmakers the Leesburg, Georgia man began his career writing hit songs for country icons like Travis Tritt and Billy Currington. Now he is an icon himself, Since breaking out in 2011 with the record-breaking single “Country Girl (Shake It For Me),” Bryan has produced 12 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and more RIAA-certified digital singles than anyone in country music. His accomplishments include selling nearly 13 million albums, with four No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, and hits like “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” showcase the incredible talent that has made him ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year five times. On the road, Bryan has played sold-out tours for over 14 million fans worldwide, including 2014’s That’s My Kind of Night Tour (the highest-grossing country tour of that year). And he is now set to break his own record on his forthcoming tour. Check his website for tour dates and it is a sure bet he will be hitting a stadium near you no matter where you live in the good old U S of A. Another safe bet is, like his long time friend Lionel Richie, Luke will back on the Idol roster for 2025. And that is good news for music fans everywhere.
