AL & TREY REACH BEYOND

AL & TREY are off like a rocket with their latest Hit single “Reach Beyond” (Tide Productions). The powerhouse duo has been at the top of our “most added” list for several weeks and the single is exploding on our Country Top50. “Reach Beyond” is the follow-up to their #1 “Anyway” and by the looks of what’s going on with this new single, expect yet another #1 from them on this one. The song is very special to them as it was written in the aftermath of a very close friend committing suicide. “It was written in remembrance of Trey’s best friend and very close friend of mine that committed suicide,” explained Al. “Trey did everything she could to prevent it, but in the end we lost her. It was a very difficult time with a lot of guilt. Once the first line was written the rest of the song just came out. We worked and we played it over and over for hours until we finally felt we could ‘Reach Beyond’ this tragedy. We decided to release it now for two reasons: It is the 3rd anniversary of her passing and we felt it was time. And there is so much division in the country right now that maybe her inspiration of the song would help some people ‘look beyond’ and ‘Reach Beyond’ and be a little more understanding of each other.” “Reach Beyond” is the second official single release from their follow up EP “Seasons Change…Reasons Change.” Al & Trey’s last EP produced three #1 singles on the Independent Music Network as well as winning IMN’s Duo of the Year Award for 2016.
