I’m honored to be a part of the reimagined version of ‘On My Way.’”Jimmie’s next album, Tulip Drive, is set be released on June 24. “Tulip Drive is the street my grandmom lived on in Delaware. JLO goes Country? Are you kidding me? That woman will do anything and everything to stay relevant. But with that being said, I love Jimmie Allen and I cannot wait for his new CD. No shade on you Jimmie.

Jennifer Lopez trying to be Country? I know she hasn’t had a hit in years, her last movie did so-so, but her concerts do sell out because she takes a Vegas style show on the road. But Country? Even her diehard JLO fans have to admit that it is really stretching it. Let’s be one and done, Jen.

I’m a diehard Jennifer Lopez fan. I live in Las Vegas and I have seen her show so many times and it never disappoints. All the glitz and glamour, plus her dancing—well, it is amazing. With that being said, JLO is not a power house singer. She is an entertainer. So D.J., as a diehard fan, I must say I am surprised that this song was remixed into a Country duet. The movie has come and gone, so I don’t really understand why she did this and it is not one of her shining moments. However, I still love her and wish she would come back to the Vegas stage soon. That is her real audience.

Let me start by saying I am a huge Jimmie Allen fan. He is so real, so talented and exactly what Country music needs. No doubt, JLO wanted to do a duet with Jimmie Allen — who wouldn’t? I can’t blame her, but on that song, her voice just doesn’t hold up to his. Put him with Carrie Underwood, Miranda, Gabby—now we have a duet.

I actually like Jennifer Lopez, Her show in Las Vegas was amazing and one of the best I have ever seen. However, this song seems a little off. Her voice didn’t sound the same to me at all. Jimmie Allen carries the song vocally. I was disappointed but oh well. JLO is like the younger version of Cher—always reinventing herself.

I am Country music born and bred. So, let me say one thing—Jennifer Lopez needs Jimmie Allen, but Jimmie Allen does not need Jennifer Lopez. Think about, ya’ all. Jimmie Allen is on the rise. When has Jennifer had a hit anything—music is not popular, her last movie bombed, she isn’t touring or performing live. Gwen and Blake work because both are superstars and both can sing. Plus, they are a couple, so it is cute too. But Jimmie and JLO?
